Calder Claydon is the Founder and Managing Director of Claydon Consultancy.
Born in Essex, England, he has been politically active in the Conservative Party for many years.
Educated at Chavagnes International College, he went on to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Theology at St. Mary's University, Twickenham.
He has worked in the House of Lords as a Parliamentary Assistant and Researcher for both a Conservative Peer and a Lord Spiritual (an Anglican Bishop in the House of Lords), and has experience working on issues relating to Christian teaching in politics and legislative affairs.
Since May of 2024, he has served as the Deputy Chair of Catholics in the Conservative Party, where he now oversees political affairs for the group, previously overseeing partnerships with Members of the House of Commons and Lords after the General Election in 2024.
In August of 2025, he founded Claydon Consultancy, a political consultancy firm dealing with matters of Christian teaching within politics.
